As an artists, i identify with these three strands
I am many things, an embodiment of my faith, my roots, my heritage, and my everyday life
I make work as a calling and a conversation. Rooted in my African heritage and shaped by migration, my practice fuses poetic self‑expression, creative writing, and centuries‑old textile handicrafts to produce sculptural body adornments, wearable pieces, and site‑specific sculptures. Each object carries memory: the rhythm of hand‑stitching, the language of pattern, the weight of cloth folded and refolded across generations. My performances and installations are embodied testimonies that place the body at the center of history—where migration, race, gender, asylum, and refuge are felt as textures, gestures, and breath.

Social purpose
as an artist and a cultural leader, I work to create pathways for migrant communities. I have interest in social polices affecting migrant communities. I use my artistic skills, lived experience and learned knowledge to challenge perceptions and drive systemic change relating to culture, race, migration, women, asylum seekers, refugees, artists and young people from marginalised migrant communities
