My work is collaborative and accountable. I work with communities, archives, and fellow artists to surface stories that institutions often overlook. I refuse tidy resolutions; instead I create spaces where discomfort becomes a catalyst for witness and repair. As an artist and cultural leader, I aim to transform audiences into participants—inviting them to hold, to listen, and to act. Art for me is both inheritance and invitation: a way to carry forward tangible and intangible gifts and to insist that marginalized voices are seen, heard, and honored.
